Hangin' at Me Me & Pa Pa's house
So...Growing up, all four of us had our own cup. Mine was blue, Trey's green, Amber's pink, Thomas' black. Some of us were more particular about our cups than others. One of Thomas' famous lines growing up was, "Who drank out of my cup?", or "Did you drink out of my cup?" or "Who used my cup?". I'm not sure what prompted these frequent inquiries. Was there liquid in the bottom, a wetness around the rim, or was it out of place? Regardless of the evidence or lack of evidence that his cup had been used by another human being, Thomas doggedly guarded his cup. I found it humorous then and I wonder if it became a joke to him as well. We all knew he would ask it, and rarely would any fess up to actually using it. In fact, I don't remember a single time anyone admitting to using his cup. No one dared use it. We weren't afraid of using it, we just knew we'd be asked, then he'd have reason to suspect us in the future. Then there might be more interrogations or at the very least more frequent inquisitions focused and directed at us.
